2. Data we process

Depending on how you use WizzBell, we process:

• Business owners: name, email, password (encrypted), business details (name, address, phone, opening hours) and menu content.
• End customers who scan a QR code: no direct personal identification; usage data (page viewed, table, date/time), your device's platform and, only if you accept the statistics cookies: a random identifier stored in your browser, your phone's model when the browser itself offers it (Android/Chrome only; Safari/iOS never gives it) and a hash of your IP address. These are used for the business's own statistics, to recognise a returning customer, and so the venue can temporarily mute anyone who abuses the call-the-waiter button. The IP is never stored in the clear and the business never sees it.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Providing the contracted service (contract performance).
• Managing account access and security, including fraud prevention (legitimate interest).
• Communications about account status, the free trial or billing (contract performance).
• Aggregated visit statistics for the business itself (the business's legitimate interest in understanding menu usage).

4. Retention

Data is kept for as long as the account remains active and, after cancellation, for the periods legally required to address any potential liability.

5. Recipients

Data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. We may use technology providers (hosting, email delivery) acting as data processors under contract, in line with Article 28 of the GDPR.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to Contact@Wizzbell.com. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

Passwords are stored encrypted (never in plain text) and sessions are protected with signed cookies. Even so, no system is 100% invulnerable; please contact us about any incident.
